Copper Nickel 90/10 is softer and far more ductile than a nickel superalloy. That lets cold heading cover a wider size band here than on our Inconel or Hastelloy lines. Larger stud bolts and odd head styles move to hot forging and final machining at our Mumbai plant.

Bolt torque comes from T = K × F × d. Clamp load is F, nominal diameter is d, both set by your design. K is a friction number set by the lubricant used. Copper-nickel is more forgiving here than a nickel superalloy.

Cu-Ni 90/10 holds up in seawater where 304/316 stainless pits and corrodes. It also resists biofouling. Good for anything submerged or in the splash zone.
It's close to bronze on the galvanic series. Pair it with steel or aluminum and you'll need isolation or a sacrificial anode. Send us your assembly and we'll check it.
Copper-nickel is softer than stainless, so it needs less torque to avoid stripping the threads. Tell us your bolt size and application and we'll confirm a safe setting.
