ASTM B335 covers rod stock. ASTM F468 covers finished bolts screws and studs with mechanical testing. Use F468 for a finished part and B335 for rod stock.
No. Alloy B2 has no chromium. It offers little resistance to oxidizing acids or contaminants like ferric or cupric chloride. Using it in oxidizing service causes rapid corrosion and early failure. For mixed or oxidizing chemistry use Hastelloy C276 bolts.
