SS 410 Seamless Pipe & ASTM A312 TP 410 Welded Pipe manufacturer in India
410 Stainless Steel Pipe is made up of martensitic steel. Martensitic steels are used when the strength and toughness are needed along with high wear and tear resistance. Their corrosion resistance is lower than the austenitic stainless steels in general. The 410 SS Pipe material has carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium and nickel in its material composition. This specific composition provides it with the high wear and tear resistance. Oshwin Overseas is a manufacturer and supplier of this material grade pipes in different shapes, sizes and dimensions. Any 410 Grade Pipe can be manufactured through cold drawing as 410 Seamless Pipe or through electric resistance weld or through electric fusion weld. The 410 Steel Pipe dimensions vary according to the manufacturing methods as well.
Check equivalent and weight of UNS S41000 AISI 410 Round Pipe, DIN 1.4006 Type 410 Square Pipe & Grade 410 SS Hollow Pipes
The ss 410 seamless pipes and the electric resistant weld pipes range from 1/2NB to 24NB whereas the electric fusion welded pipes range from 6NB to 100NB. The 410 Welded Pipe can be heat treated for strength. The SS 410 Erw Pipe is easy to weld upon and is strong. We manufacture different shapes such as the Aisi 410 Round Pipe. Our Type 410 Stainless Steel Square Pipe is used in structurally strong applications. The Grade 410 Stainless Steel Hollow Pipe is usually quenched and tempered for strength. Our products in this grade could be applied in Minnen ladder rungs, steam turbines, petroleum industry, gas turbine parts and in pumps and valves. Our products are of high quality and are tested under international standards.

Why does the SS 410 Pipe don’t always have a pristine appearance?
The 410 is a martensitic stainless steel grade. The 410 grade material could be heat treated, quenched and tempered to improve the strength and hardness. It also has high strength and ductility. The corrosion resistance would be lower compared to most austenitic steel types. Since the corrosion resistant austenitic steel pipes can look good because their outer surface does not corrode easily, the martensitic ones don’t.
They have less corrosion resistance, which means the surface could change quickly. They have high wear and tear resistance so that they do not wear off quickly, but the look is not so great. There is certain level of corrosion resistance but the products are mostly meant for stressful environments and applications such as the automotive industries, automotive parts, engine parts, power generation plant pipes, petrochemical industrial applications and so on.
In these applications, the functionality is the most important and the visibility is not necessarily of great importance. Another reason for its not so bright look is the composition. It is a mixture of chromium, nickel, manganese and carbon at 0.08 to 0.15%, and the pipes look greyish or blackish in original color.
