SS 317L Seamless Pipe and ASTM A312 TP 317L Welded Pipe manufacturer in India
ASTM A312 Tp 317l is a chromium nickel molybdenum alloy that can perform under high temperatures. The alloy is solid solution heated for strength and the pipes are produced through different manufacturing mechanisms. The SA 312 Tp 317l products have high yield strengths and can perform well under stress conditions. They have elongation rate higher than 35%. These properties make them applicable in certain industries with unique requirements. Oshwin Overseas is a manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 317L Pipe products in all different kinds and shapes. Our SS 317l Seamless Pipe dimensionally accurate and could be used with sensitive piping systems.
We produce and sell the SS 317l Welded Pipe products for use in heavy welding applications. These are easy weld upon with and without filler materials. They are often color plated to avoid surface corrosion and to provide a better look as well. We take custom orders and do the different forming operations for our customers. The AISI 317l Stainless Steel Erw Pipe is stronger. It is also highly resistant to stress corrosion.
Due to these properties, it can perform under high temperatures with high compressive strength. Our Stainless Steel Grade 317l Round Pipe is one of the most used products in this range. The applications of this material grade are in the chemical and petrochemical industries, textile equipment, food processing sector, condensers and in nuclear power plants and in the pulp and paper industries. You can always contact us with inquiries on products and pricing.

Alloy 317L Pipe resistance to various chemicals
The 317L grade austenitic stainless steel is used in a variety of applications such as power plant, paper and pulp processing plants, textile equipment, petrochemical processing plants, food processing plants, flue gas desulfurization scrubbers and in chemical processing plants. This range of applications is possible because the material is malleable and durable. It is also a chromium, nickel and molybdenum alloy.
The mixture enables the material to have good formability, good weldability and localized and general corrosion resistance. This in turn allows the material to be used in high chloride ion concentrations because of the chromium and nickel components. It is also resistant to mild sulfuric acids up to 5% concentration because of the addition of molybdenum in the mixture.
The 317L is also much corrosion resistance to the sulfur gas attacks at condensation. The lower carbon means that the product could be used with less intergranular corrosion while welding and it reduces the sensitization of the material. Also, high temperature applications with other mild chemicals are possible as well. The material is non-magnetic. The 317L could be used with high concentrations of hydrochloric, sulfuric and other acids under temperatures lower than 38 degrees Celsius.
Compare manufacturing techniques
- Stainless Steel 317L ERW Pipes are suitable only for low pressure applications
- Latest ERW/HFI pipe manufacturing techniques perform better compared to the traditional techniques
